Hello World!
Welcome to abhya.in.
If you are wondering why a guy who builds software for a living took this long to put up a simple personal blog, the answer is slightly embarrassing. I over-engineered the absolute hell out of it in my head.
I am Abhiraj. I am a technical founder, CTO, and a massive geek who also happens to be pretty outgoing and playful. For the longest time, I wanted this space to be flawless. I debated the tech stack for weeks. I obsessed over getting the exact crude but functional pop-art aesthetic just right. I wanted the perfect deployment pipeline for a site that, at the time, had exactly zero words on it.
Eventually, I realized I was falling into the exact same trap I have spent the last few years fighting at my own startup. So, I decided to just ship the damn thing.
This blog is going to be a raw, unfiltered look into what it is actually like to build tech companies right now. I will be writing about my thought process, agentic workflows, the utter chaos of AI heavy development, the stupid mistakes I have made, and maybe occasionally rambling about my DIY hardware projects.
No polished corporate PR. Just the reality of the trenches.
On a final note, I am trying to add dimensions to blog posts. So every blog post will be broken down into different perspectives. You can click on any perspective to read it.
Before we dive in, let us talk about how this blog works. You might have noticed these colorful blocks. I call them “Perspectives.”
Reality is rarely one-dimensional. Sometimes you want the deep dive, sometimes you just want the TLDR, and sometimes you want the practical engineering takeaway without the philosophical fluff.
Every post here will be broken down into these Perspectives. You can read them all, or you can skip straight to the one that matches your current attention span. I will not judge. The Alter Ego might, though.
To kick things off, I want to talk about the exact psychological trap that delayed this blog and almost suffocated my company. I call it the Perfection Tax.
If you are ready to stop tweaking your Tailwind configs and actually ship something, head over to the very first real post: The Tax of Chasing Perfection.
- I built this blog after much ado.
- It is a raw, unfiltered look into my brain.
- It is broken down into different perspectives so you can read what you want.
